Prototype stage: these protections describe how the platform is built today. We publish measured figures only once we have them.

What riders ask us.

Straight answers for a product that is still in its pilot.

Do I need a SIM card?

Yes — the tracker has its own SIM for mobile data. During setup the app sends your carrier's network settings (the APN) to the tracker over Bluetooth, and a SIM PIN can be stored in your account and carried to the tracker by the app.

Where is my ride data stored?

In cloud storage you own. You connect your own storage credentials under Settings → Cloud storage; TechnikBrain routes telemetry and trips into that storage and reads them back for the map and the history. The credentials are encrypted at rest.

Do I need the app, or is the website enough?

Both work with one account. The app does the jobs a browser cannot: pairing over Bluetooth, arming and disarming next to the bike, push alerts and the ride dashboard. The website has the live map, the history, device health, settings and your storage.

What happens when there is no mobile coverage?

The tracker keeps recording. When you are nearby, it can hand its sealed records to your phone over Bluetooth; the app queues them and uploads them once the phone is online.

How long does the battery last?

It depends on the tracking profile: Battery Saver checks in rarely, Live Tracking often. We publish measured figures only once we have them from the pilot — not estimates.

Which phones does the app support?

Android, as a beta build you install directly from the download page. iOS is planned, via TestFlight first.

Can I buy one today?
